| Bio: | this is a roleplaying journal for a fictional character. all icons are made by myself unless otherwise noted. Character's name: Kigai Yuuto Character's age: Probably no younger than thirty; I also doubt much older. Character's gender: Male. Series the character is from: X. Point in canon they're being taken from: X-18 - after Nataku's death. Brief background: A perfectly ordinary office worker (his words), Kigai Yuuto is the first of the Dragons of Earth to appear, both in the story and, earlier, to be discovered by Kanoe. Not much is known about his history, other than that he has a younger sister that he's fond of and that he works as a civil servant (in the name registry). In his work as a Dragon of Earth, Yuuto is the first to admit that he is "lazy," much preferring to hang out around the city hall to doing anything to destroy Tokyo. Nevertheless, he does make the occasional appearance in battle; first investigating Kamui on Kanoe's order, and later backing up (and rescuing) Nataku from Karen and Aoki. Although he has an elemental control over water, he prefers to fight with whips because, according to him, water is a pain to control and whips are easier. Personality: Yuuto comes off as good natured and fairly intelligent, although apathetic. He is intelligent enough to debate morality and such with Satsuki, and is generally polite and friendly in appearance. In both of his battles, he is the one to suggest calling a draw and retreating for both sides, and is more than happy to let the enemy go; he admits that he doesn't care one way or another about the apocalypse, and likely just doesn't care to risk his own life for the cause (as well as his laziness in general). Yuuto is a flirt to the core; he is in a sexual relationship with Kanoe throughout X, flirts with Satsuki, and has many female fans at work. Even in battle he flirts with and compliments his enemies. It's also noted that he dresses, according to Sorata, "like he works in a red-light district." Despite his sexual behavior, it's very difficult to tell if Yuuto has any sincere feeling for Kanoe or Satsuki; at most he displays a sort of vague fondness. Although cheerful and good humored (if also highly apathetic), Yuuto is represented by "The Devil" tarot by CLAMP; although he's never really done anything to deserve such a title, it wouldn't be surprising in the least if he had a much darker side to him. | |||||||||
